Submission Requirements

  

At AMERISAFE, we write high-hazard industries that other carriers may not. Our underwriters work each submission on its own merit and will consider any risk in our appetite regardless of E-Modifier. The more information we have with your submission the better we can help with your Workers' Comp clients. In order to work your accounts most effectively, please include the following with your submission:

  • Completed ACORD application
  • Expiring and 3-year current value, hard copy Loss Runs
  • Current Mod Worksheet or expiring and 3-year historical payrolls by class code
  • Narrative description of the account

Points of Interest

  • AMERISAFE accepts submissions 120 days in advance of the current expiration date to allow accounts to be inspected by an AMERISAFE Loss Control Specialist prior to quoting.
  • Minimum Rated Premium:  $10,000
  • Submissions with less than 25% of payroll located outside of our normal geographic service area will be considered.

How to Submit an Application to Underwriting
A completed submission must include:

Complete ACORD application
